I know some of the throwers work up a big appetite throwing, so here are some of all you can eat places (I have not been to any of them nor am I recommending them) Click on the name and a map with directions from google will launch:

A unique eating experience started in the Quad Cities is the Machine Shed Restaurants.
This is NOT an all you can eat place!
Their first restaurant is located in Davenport:
Iowa Machine Shed Restaurant
(5.4 miles from the Fairgrounds)
7250 Northwest Boulevard,
Davenport, IA 52806
(563) 391-2427
The only restaurant I will recommend is:
Blue Cat Brew Pub
113 Eighteenth Street
Rock Island, Illinois 61201
1-309-788-8247

They are a games sponsor but I recommend them because the food is awesome, the people are wonderful, and the beer hits the spot like none other.
However, they do not have a buffet, thus it is not all you can eat; it is more like fine pub dinning. If Blue Cat's lack of a buffet prevents you from enjoying their fine food and atmosphere after the games, try them when you're in town another time. Once a month they have a fabulous beer dinner, which is a 5-course meal; each course a beer is served to complement the food.
The After the Games Celidh Party is going to be a good one with a Canadian group called Searson who played at the games two years ago. So after eating, you may want to come back to the fairgrounds and enjoy great music. It is a separate admission charge this year.
